Merry Christmas!

A week+ with Auntie Kristi!! Hannah was also fortunate enough to have her Grandma and Pop here for a few days over Christmas. We had such a wonderful time with you guys, thank you!

I love this card from Gram -- it lights up and sings!

Working hard to make Christmas day table place tags.

Very determined, concentrated, and persistent

Weeee! Auntie is giving me rides!

This way, Auntie, I'll show you my favorite trampoline!

Here it is!

Thank goodness for the soft landing!

Do we look alike?

Cute outfit, thanks Em and Dave!

Hannah has become increasingly stable -- and confident for that matter -- as she walks (trots, rather!) down this trampoline.

Here I come, Auntie!

Hannah loves the gym, so we go at least once a week.

I look like Mark here, don't you think?

Hannah is learning that edges can be dangerous.

Tarzan

Hannah loves being at the gym, and we know how to have fun!

Hannah says "Ma Ma" now.

Who taught her how to do this? Is this a new trick or is she narcissistic?

I love it when Grandma and Pop come to visit!

Thanks for reading to me, Pop!

Hannah finds glasses particularly intriguing and enjoys pulling them off of anyone's face.

Happy Birthday, Kristi! Sorry we didn't have any real candles....at least we had carrot cake!

Good times make good memories

Let's read this one, Pop!

This is one of Hannah's first favorite books, Little Duck.

A more recent favorite involves opening flaps and learning about opposites, numbers, emotions, and shapes.

Grandma loved playing with me. Thanks, Grandma!

Hannah learned a lot about Santa this Christmas. For instance, she knows he lives at the North Pole, has helpers called elves, and flies through the air on a sleigh lead by reindeer. She knows that Santa says "ho ho ho" and loved sporting this Santa cap around the house.

Christmas Eve

Time for little one to go to bed!

What one earth can be in my stocking?! Over the past few weeks, Hannah learned that this is her stocking, so she was very excited to figure out why it was on the floor and bulky on Christmas morning.

She also enjoyed the crinkly candies in Dad's stocking...and decided that her stocking was no longer worth investigating, but rather, that she would walk around with Dad's loot.

Oooooh, that looks good too, Dad!

Time to open presents from Santa!

A new drum, harmonica, tambourine, and whistle from Santa!

As it turns out, Hannah is a talented musician! She loves the drum, has figured out how to play the harmonica, and sings while shaking the tambourine.

Hannah also received a play mat, outfits, MANY books, toys from Jonathan's childhood, a play house, a puzzle, and many other educational toys.

Pop, you look great in the new sweater! Kristi, we like the bulldogs, too :)

Hannah certainly smiles with her eyes. In this picture she is pretending/dreaming that she could eat the Muddy Buddies right through the bag.

Great pic!

Sticky buns for Christmas morning

Grandma made Hannah this beautiful scarf and word has it that there is a matching one coming for MUM!

Mom just wishes she had a onesie like us.

Pretty new dress, Hannah! Thanks, Auntie Kristi!
Ho ho ho

Playing with her new dump truck.

Reading with Dad.

It's bright and beautiful out! This was the case for the 30 minutes we were outside and then it clouded up again.

Mom is teaching Hannah that snow is fun. She was entirely skeptical at first, despite having already been sledding, but soon she warmed up to it.

I don't know about all this snow, Grandma!

Now we take Grandma to the gym

Crawling up an incline on her own. Good job, Hannah!

Thank you for coming to visit, Gram.

The Eck women present. FOUR generations represented!

Playing card from Gram while dancing in Santa hat.

Sitting in my decorative high-chair from Gram

Leading A. Kristi around the house.

Amazingly, Hannah has been playing the recorder for quite some time now.
