This past weekend we had a wonderful visit with Auntie Kristi, who drove over from Syracuse, NY to meet Hannah. During her visit we made a trip into Concord to go for a walk, eat ice cream at the best ice cream place we've ever been to, and to buy Hannah some clothes that actually FIT. We walked in a lovely residential neighborhood that Jonathan used to run through when he was living in Concord for a term during law school to work at the NH Supreme Court. We thought it was important for Kristi to try the world's best ice cream, so we took her to the Granite State Chocolate Shop in downtown Concord. We then hit up the Burlington Coat Factory to find some clothes that fit Hannah, since she's too small still for most of the clothes we have accumulated and too tall for the premie outfits Sarah found for her last week upon realizing that most of our clothes for the little H-factor are not 0-3 months.
On Sunday, we brought Hannah and Kristi to the congregational church in town, where we would like to have her baptized in the spring. Hannah wore a cute "ballerina outfit" that Kristi had found for her the day before. The Reverend announced Hannah's arrival to planet Earth and she was a huge hit, not to mention, a wonderful conversation starter :) This was good, since we know very few people in town at this point in time.
After church, we returned to home to find Ted and Heidi (Jonathan's grandparents) who drove down for the Upper Valley for a visit. They had prepared a delicious brunch, replete with fresh fruit, locks, quiche, banana bread and champagne!
Thank you to Kristi and Ted and Heidi for such a great weekend! Pictures will be posted, but right now I am unable to locate the adaptor.....
