Mom/Sarah's birthday weekend

The princess is flying over her domain. Thank you, Sir Daddy!

We had a great time playing in the snow! Hannah and Mom even did somersaults down the hill!

What's this? Nap time?! If only we could get her to take a nap in her bed!

Snow Angel.

It was a beautiful, warm day, so we decided to make the most of it by getting out for some fresh air before lunch. As a family (Mason in the Bjorn with Dad), we walked in the woods on the trail behind our house, which Hannah was not too keen on. However, by the end of our time outside, she was making snow angels and doing somersaults in the snow!

We were even able to slide without sleds! This was pretty cool and Hannah requested several trips.

Back to the princess's quarters.

Stephanie gave this robe and water bottle to Hannah and since then, Hannah hasn't let either of them out of her sight.

Hi Handsome. Mason, Mason. Let's see. He's growing like crazy. At his 4-month visit, he was 14 lbs and had grown from the 61st percentile in height to the 93rd! It seems that this growth-spurt occurred over the holidays, when we focused very little on Tummy Time, because Mason found this activity to be far more challenging after the short hiatus in practice.

You will notice in this picture that Mason has found his feet and that he LIKES them (a lot!)! Hannah is presenting Mom with her birthday card. If you enlarge the picture, you may be able to see that Hannah has signed her name with an "H" -- this is something she's been doing for about two months now!

Mason helped Mom open packages. Mason's hair is still very light, much lighter than Hannah's was. In some of these pictures it looks like it has red tones in it. He is wearing a beautiful sweater, knit by Great G'ma Gerda. Thank you, GGG!

Princess Hannah has returned to the scene.

Mom's friends, Meredith and Hannah showed up for dinner and birthday cake! Of course, it was only fair to have cake before the adult dinner (see place settings in background) because Hannah wanted a piece of the cake she baked with MorMor before she went to bed. Completely understandable.

Maybe I can solicit some help to blow out all those candles?!

Thankfully, Hannah was a great contributor to this cause.

And, she had decorated a princess crown for me to wear when I celebrated my birthday.

Look, even Mason is learning to smile for the camera!!! Thank you all for making my birthday so special. Mom, thank you for the delicious cake that you helped Hannah bake!
