Merry Christmas to you all! We've had a wonderful Christmas week so far. It came and went so quickly. Things were very busy. We spent Christmas Eve at our home with Auntie Kristi. Before going to a 7 o'clock church service, we had goat cheese and sun-dried tomato stuffed chicken breasts, roasted potatoes fries, and steamed broccoli for dinner, followed by Christmas cookies for dessert. Hannah wore a beautiful dress and carried a matching purse that she was handed down from the McClenaghan twins (thank you!). Despite being 15 minutes early to the service, we still had to sit in the front row. Hannah did a fabulous job singing the carols with Auntie Kristi. Upon return, cookies were left out for Santa and it was time for bed.

And, it appears that he (Santa) enjoyed them and...

"Baby" (not doll!) needed a new outfit as soon as she was opened and a clean diaper, according to Hannah.

Hannah Quotes:
Jonathan: "Hannah, what is that?"
Hannah: "I think it might be an astronaut" (in reference to a ruler wrapped in wrapping paper)
Mom (Sarah) in reference to Christmas morning: "This is the best parenting moment yet!"
Hannah: "I think this is going to be dog vitamins" (when opening a gift).
Sarah: "That's a really nice doll, Hannah."
Hannah in response: "That is not a doll. It's a baby."
Kristi: "Hannah, ZElda has an injured leg. See, she holds it up."
Hannah: "Yes, you should get her a better leg at Target."
Kristi: "Do you get all sticky when you eat maple syrup?"
Hannah: "No, I use a fork."
Jonathan: "Hannah, what color hair does Mom have?"
Hannah: "Her hair is hot and kind of curly."
