Visit to Auntie Kristi's!

Hannah must have gotten the "I like veggie gene" because she is completely content (perhaps you'd say 'excited' with this smile!) with beets and green beans as her appetizer.

Move over "Jolly Green Giant," there is a new vegetable spokesperson in town!

Who knew vegetables tasted even better than candy? Little Pea! That's who!
(Check it out at your local library.)

Dressed up for Valentine's Day with my pals in town.

Hanging out, getting ready to sing!

Peering inside the castle when I should be taking my morning nap. All last week, Hannah skipped her morning nap. This resulted in more lounging during playtime.

The strawberry provided the vocals.

Reading Mom's meeting minutes.

Hannah does an excellent job caring for Baby Blake.

She's very affectionate.

And she tends to Baby Blake's diapers without delay.

But every now and then, I get tripped up . . . .

and I can't quite figure out . . .

if the crib is Baby Blake's or mine.

Bouncing around on the moon walk.

Hi Kristi! I am so happy to see you after that long drive.

Zelda and Hannah are friends, and thankfully, Zelda has mellowed out.
Zelda did a wonderful job with Hannah. Hannah knows what Zelda says -- "Woof!"

And we've arrived at the science and technology museum!

We made the mistake of nosing around in the gift shop, where Hannah fond a larger version of her Panda. Fortunately, there were enough interesting exhibits to look at INSIDE the museum, and we successfully diverted her attention back to the real attractions we went to see.

All of us loved watching the enormous marble maze contraption.

Whoosh! Now this is cool!

Hannah loves puckering her lips and making "fish sounds."

Into the ball room

And inside the gigantic maze / play area

Three wonderful, loving ladies inside a heart.

Young archeologist unearthing some of the oldest fossils in the museum!

An incredible exhibit featuring about 50-60 of the world's most
impressive architectural structures, but made entirely out of toothpicks.

Good times!

Hannah got a little physics lesson

As amazing as the museum is, one can only
last so long before needing that afternoon nap.

Jonathan tried, and failed, to coordinate the landing of airplanes on the airport traffic control simulator. His 10% success rate suggested he better stick with his day job.

Auntie introduces Hannah to her first ZuhZuh pet, Stinker. Thanks, Kristi!

Hannah loves her new present.

Why is it squeaking at me!?

Hannah, try putting it on the ground to see it move all around!

Kristi concocted a wonderful Indian dinner for us.

Working on her butterfly stroke...

Thanks for hooking me up with some crayons and paper for drawing with, Auntie Kristi!

Smile, ladies! We're off to the zoo!

Did somebody say "laugh"? MOst every time Hannah hears the word "laugh" she will make a fake laugh and cover her mouth!

"Daddy's taking us to the zoo tomorrow, zoo tomorrow, zoo tomorrow...."

We are having so much fun here at the zoo!

Hannah loved watching the monkeys.

This guy in particular was playing/showing off for us, as he swung from branch to branch, posing every so often.

Hannah loved watching him.

The outside portion of the zoo was cold, but to be expected at this time of year :)

And, despite the cold, Hannah refused to be carried and walked nearly the entire loop! From only 3 feet away, she saw a tiger basking in the sun on a rock. Pretty cool trip!

Thank you for having us, Kristi!
