Weekend fun: family, wedding, friends!

We haven't written any text on this blog for quite some time, so here we will document a few things that Hannah has been doing, so that she will someday be able to read about her development. For a few months now, Hannah has been telling us (using sign language) when she wants "milk" and when she is "all done and it's time to clean up," but now she is also signing (very well, I might add) for "more" and "yes," both of which you can imagine are very helpful for us as parents. Additionally, with regards to signing, Hannah understands signs for "drink water," "eat" and "go walking?"

Hannah continues to be very active: she kicks impressively, both in the water and on the floor; she returns a ball that has been rolled to her by positioning it with her hands and kicking it back (propelling it forward with her leg); she gives "high-fives" and has begun crawling in her own innovative way, using her elbows.

So far, Hannah has hiked 3 of the 48 4000+ footers in NH (Lafayette, Wildcat, and Mt. Height). She loves to chat as during the ascent and is constantly looking all around. Typically, she sleeps during the descent, but if not, she chats then too. Mom has been teaching her about the various species we encounter along the trail.

In the pictures below you will find snapshots from a weekend in the UV with Unc B, Aunt-to-be-Nicky, Aunt Kate, Uncle Shane, and MorMor and GP Jimbo. Moreover, there are images from Mer's wedding and hiking Mt. Height. Unfortunately, Mom didn't have the camera for our hike with Hannah A up Wildcat mountain before Mer's wedding, but we had a great time doing that too! At the very end is an entertaining video of Hannah eating dinner and doing a few of her tricks.
