Trip to VA with MorMor and Halloween!

 CHEESE!

Mom, can't I please stop smiling and just climb up this slide!

Hannah "works" with Dad while he does work.

 Fun at Brenda and Alexa's!

Hannah is excited about pressing apples to make cider.
WOW!  Check out my ride!
You can see the magnitude of the bonfire.

Gorgie Porgie....off to see the girls!

Mason was intrigued by Grace's jewelry box and liked to dance to the music it played.

Unc Shane is home!
The novelty of new toys is always exciting and Grace was good at sharing her toys with Hannah and Mason.

Spectacular view from Carter Mountain Orchard!  We picked some delicious Winesaps.

 Hannapillar.

Mormor barely got to sit for lunch, as she was constantly chasing down one of the kids.  Grace was particularly friendly with fellow picnickers.

Auntie Kate had planned a special activity for Hannah while the little ones were down for afternoon nap.  Here, you can see them painting pumpkins.

This gigantic purple spider greeted us at the door of the club where we had a festive Halloween dinner.

Our favorite little lady bug and her beautiful Mom!

Dancing Queen, Young and Sweet.....  This picture captures just how into the dancing and music Hannah was.

On the green post dinner.  We had fun running up and down the hill.

Goober Snoobs.

Unc Shane reads with the little ones.

Fall colors in VA were impressive.  However, by the time we visited, most of the leaves had already fallen, so we got to rake them and jump into the piles!

 Strike a pose.

Trying to get a picture of these three was near to impossible, as Grace continued to get up, Mason refused to smile, and Hannah would only put on this ridiculously goofy smile.

 Mom with the Eck kiddos.

Mom and Mommy's Boy.

These two had a blast together over the course of the week.  Here, Mason kept trying to kiss and tickle Grace while she was looking at a book.

As soon as we returned home from VA, we got to spend time with Auntie Kristi and Uncle Peter and Aunt Caitlin.

Mom was called out to carve once the seeds had been removed.

 BOO!

Hannah sported Dad's old work shirt (backwards) with the sleeves cut off and a safety pin holding the collar down.  She was a cute (but not very scary) ghost and did a great job of saying her "Trick or Treats" and "Thank you!"

Mason was a little feline of sorts!

After trick or treating, our family friends invited us to share a special traditional treat: sticky buns!

These older kids are so great with our little ones.

 Down for the count!

Hannah looks over her loot.  She was very generous; she share a bunch of her candy with Daddy.  In particular, she noted that "the big ones" (full-sized) should be for Dad.

Hannah requested a kitty cat and Mason just got a cute face.
