As you can see here, Mason's top two teeth have emerged! He has been trying new foods, including gnawing on rice cakes, working on his pincer grasp to pick up Cheerios, and
Hannah made some Mother's Day cards (pictured above) for Grandma Siri and Mormor, upon which she made a flower out of her hand print and a butterfly out of her footprints. She then SIGNED her entire NAME! Prior to this incident, Hannah had only ever written an "H" (at least in my presence).
Sibling love is such a precious thing. It's been so incredible watching how Hannah and Mason interact. If number of smiles directed toward an individual reflects popularity, Hannah is by far Mason's favorite family member. Indeed, he is a smiley guy and will smile at anyone who flashes a smile his direction, but Hannah can just be going about her play and he will just beam at her. He often chuckles, too. SO SPECIAL.
Hannah, let me just fix your hair. I'll just tease it a bit.
This picture is just too funny to exclude from this week's blog update! If one were to choose a single word to use as a caption for this image, what would it be?
There we go, back to the smiles and fun times!
Hannah is beginning to get the hang of pedaling!
Side walk chalk: great invention.
Hannah's friend, Brooke
Fun in the sun and yard = more baths!
Hannah made Mom the sweetest aprons for Mother's Day! She decorated them with Mormor and did a great job keeping the secret until the second Mom was opening the bag, when she couldn't help herself but exclaim "I made aprons!"
Swinging so sweetly in stripes
Hannah flying "helicopter style" on her swing. Hannah did a great job relinquishing her "baby swing" to Mason and was very amenable to trying the "big-girl" swing, for which we are very thankful.
Our beautiful new table, created by GP Jimbo!
