Fall activities and Mason photo shoots

It's applesauce season! Mormor and Hannah making applesauce.

Mason lounging.

Sweet dreams

If Hannah is "My Little Angel," what is Mason? Mom calls him "Handsome."

Gramps and Mason are two low key cats.

Hannah loves to entertain Nanny. She is quite good at it, too.

Gramps helps Hannah hold her little brother, Mason.
Hannah is very careful when she is holding Mason.

Hannah was beaming while holding Mason

Hannah makes a crack and Mason gasps at whatever it is that Hannah is saying.

Hannah has been celebrating her birthday for weeks, now! According to her, it is still Hannah's birthday because she continues to receive gifts weeks later.

Hannah does a nice job drinking out of a big girl cup!

Weee! Take a bow!

Mason in the Ergo. Mom has tried many different kinds of front carriers this time around. The Ergo is good, in that it's easily adjustable (unlike the Moby) and that it's quick to put on, but the shoulder straps are a bit wide for her.

Hannah loves her swing, but she has begun to find new ways of sliding that she likes, too, like going down on her stomach (feet first)!

Swinging in this thing doesn't interest me much. Maybe it's the pink that I don't care for?!

Hannah in her Dala horse dress.

The Hannahs -- our Hannah really liked our friend Hannah and continued to call her "Hannah Arnold" just so we knew who she was talking about.

While Hannah was visiting, we did a walk down to GH Orchard and then just hungout, which was very relaxing.

Celina, reading to the girls

Relatives from Wisconsin drop in for a visit during their New England vacation.

Jonathan's mother's cousin and her husband came to visit while on a tour of New England!

Mason acquainting himself with the little white animals hanging on his chair.

Hannah and Mason, in their onesies.

Daddio with the kiddios

Mom gives Mason some eskimo kisses

Momma's boy already :)

Do you think he has red hair, too?

Tummy time for the three kids. Hannah is finally catching up on her tummy time (she didn't care for tummy time at all when Mason's age).

Susana came down to visit! She was a rock star in Hannah's eyes.

Susana brought Hannah this doll for her birthday, which she calls her "Susana" doll. Hannah concluded that this doll is a "big girl" because she doesn't wear a diaper, but rather, wears underwear! This is something that Hannah was VERY close to achieving, but it seems that there has been some regression in the past month. Of course, this is very normal, so we're not too concerned. I recently read that if you start toilet training your child at two years of age, they will be trained at three years of age and if you start at three years of age, they will be trained at three years of age. SO, no point in starting early. Wait until they are ready!

Cutie.

Mom had a chance take a photo shoot of Mason, while Hannah was up visiting Mormor and GP Jimbo.

What is so precious as these tiny little feet? Where will they go? We do not yet know!

Recent Hannah quotes:

Mason makes a little baby noise. Hannah looks at Mom and says, "He's a little grumpy." Then, she turns to Mason and says, "No need to cry, sweetie pie."

Mason starts crying while sitting in the Moby Wrap front carrier. Hannah announces, "Mummy, Mason is making a lot of noise in your pocket."

Hannah rises from eating lunch with Mom on the deck and goes inside. "What are you doing inside, Hannah?" asks Mom. "Investigating," says Hannah naturally. "Investigating what?" asks Mom. "Packages," says Hannah. We believe that Hannah has gotten this from the book about Clifford's First Christmas, as he wakes up during the night to investigate the gifts.

When eating her birthday dinner, Hannah states, "It is good. It is so much good, Mom."
