33 weeks- WOW!

Time flies!  We can't believe - but are so excited- that we're so close to a dramatic life change.  Hannah is approximately 16.5 inches long and between 4.5 and 5 pounds (about the heft of a pineapple!).  Mum has gained 23 pounds, which is right on target, but she has failed to gain any vertical height :)  Sarah has also learned to accept her new dimensions, as bumping into chairs and counters is par for the course these days (see profile shot above).  According to the American Pregnancy Association, Hannah's skin is beginning to look less red and less wrinkled and her bones are beginning to harden, except for the skull, which must remain soft and pliable for delivery.

Currently, Hannah is sitting in breech position, however, she moves a ton and has several more weeks to figure out which way is down and out :)  There are special positions Sarah has been lying in for 15 min/day, but there are other tricks that she has not yet tried.  For example, because Hannah can hear and see, tactics suggest holding a flash light or music or a tape-recording of Mum's voice to Mum's lower abdomen to lure Hannah to turn.  It's quite interesting what one can do to help their baby move into proper position!

We have also posted (above) a picture of Jonathan holding the exquisite sweater Aunt Kate made for Hannah for Easter and/or her baptism.  We feel so blessed to have such loving (and talented!) fam
ilies to love and care for Hannah as she grows!  Thank you, Kate!  It's gorgeous!

Finally, we have posted (below) a picture of us from last weekend at Emily and Dave's
wedding, which was very elegant with extraordinary food, a wonderful band and special friends.

Um you are like the cutest mamma ever! Kate is quite talented with her baby sweaters. I hope you are doing well and thinking of you and Jonathan often. Best of luck with the last few weeks :)
