Wow, time is flying by. Second trimester is certainly a blessing, as Sarah's energy has nearly returned to 100% (although, she still naps daily if possible!), and her mood fluctuates less (perhaps because the dissertation has been handed in to her advisor!). Jonathan has been working very hard at work and has also been trying to find us a "nest" to bring Bambi home to, as we made an offer on a home in Hopkinton, NH this week. Bambino is the size of an orange now and weighs approximately 2.5 ounces. This being said, only Jonathan and Sarah's clothes can tell she is prego (no belly yet :(, just extra weight all around). Supposedly Bambino can suck his/her thumb! Baby's bones are ossifying, or retaining calcium, and growing harder, and Bambino's legs are growing longer than his/her arms! Finally, the primitive air sacs in Bambi's lungs have begun to develop. This is the first week that an ultrasound can determine sex with good certainty...we have to wait until April 13th...stay tuned!
