More Summer 2014 (from cell phone)

Cuddle bugs

Number sequencing project

This is what we discovered one morning -- Mason was half out of bed, but still sound asleep.

Playing in the post office at the Dover Children's Museum

A rare ride with Lowly

Family canoe outing (in the early summer) in our local river.

The complete gang

Heron -- some of the wildlife we saw while paddling

We stopped for lunch at Daisy Beach and Mason decided to take a nap

We kept a safe distance from the snapping turtle

Cuddling and reading with Aunt Nickie

Tractor rides are a regular treat up at Unc B's

Breakfast buds

Exploring with "Living Sands"

A couple of cool kids at the coast

Art sesh in the garage

Modern art

Lounging in style at our neighbors' house

Biker buddies

This guy can really cruise on his Strider.
Today, I saw him glide about 25 yards with his feet up.

The sand Castles at Hampton beach were incredible!

Ready to dance!

Having already performed her ballet, Hannah is now comfortable and ready to tap dance in front of the big crowd.

A sign that an early bedtime would be in order on this particular day.

Having fun with Grace during one of her visits

The  beginning of the sticky buns

Beachin' it, with Jonathan's parents and Grandma Gerda

No trip to the coast is complete without ice cream on the way back home

A couple of beach ladies

"Yahoo!  I love summer!"

Everyone looking a little more refined

On the dock at the Perch

An afternoon dip at Kimball Pond

Mason loves his blueberries!

Testing out their homemade pinwheels

Visit to Sue

Chicks!  It's incredible to watch as these baby birds peck their way through the egg shell and start to flap their little wings around.

A sign of another successful and thoroughly enjoyed outing

Feeding the family was interrupted for a pose.

Love the sun n' sand!

Look at these mermaids we found at Jennesse beach!

Uncle Richard and Aunt Kathy, their niece, Amanda and her family meet us at Jennesse.

Ella and Emily (Amanda Mueller's daughters, out from Kansas) pose with Hannah mid-project.

In general, these two interact very lovingly and patiently.  They are definitely best friends.  Here  you can see that Hannah has agreed to play trucks, which was Mason's request and there are many times he plays "Pippi" or "family" with her.

"Pumping up" the tires on the Strider bike (the tires don't inflate)

Getting ready for another ride

Hannah and Annelise have a playdate before school starts
