Summer 2014 is well underway! Campling, Storyland, Dance Recital and more!

Mason drawing an "owl in a tree."

Hannah moving clouds at the Montshire.

Fun at the Montshire with George and Sam, who are part of our church and who joined us for the day.

Sue came to visit the Montshire!

Mason could have spent all day watching the ball go through this system.  I literally had to pick him up and take him with me to remove him.

S'more S'mores, please!

Camping at Crawford Notch Campground with the Blalocks and Johnsons! S'mores are always a treat!

How am I going to tackle this?!

Mason loves his SMORES...

Tyler and Mason enjoying one another's company.

Hannah, Brooke, Tyler, and Mason played very nicely together this visit.  In years past, the boys played in parallel, but this time they had a lot of fun interacting with one another.  Additionally, Brooke and Hannah played beautifully and found they have some interests in common, particularly, the love or princesses, namely, Frozen.

The Lorax was visiting StoryLand on this particular day!

"Driving my tractor down a bumpy road...."

Driving my digger....  oh boy!

Dad and Hannah on the Polar Coaster: see penultimate car!

Mom and Hannah riding the carousel.  This summer, Hannah was able to rock the horse back-and-forth by herself!

Giddy-up!  Mason named his horse "Purple"
Crazy barn ride was a bit too wild for Mom and Mason.  Hannah and Dad, on the other hand, had a blast!

Trent and Dad in the front car!  Nobody else dared to try this new coaster ride....but we enjoyed watching!

Thanks for fixing my couch, Mason!  I'm sure that Energizer battery you are nailing into it will keep it up and running a long time!

*******DANCE RECITAL*******

Ballet was first!  The dancers were little flowers, that started as seeds!

Watching the "wedding" scene of the show!

Hannah next to Miss Angela, who was her teacher for the year.

Hannah and Chloe, who also goes to our church and dances in a different class with Miss Angela.

Fairy wings ready to fly for the tap song, "Fly Away" from Peter Pan!

Love the smile!  She was so happy while performing and especially when she found me in the audience.

Nice moves, H!

What a natural!  Look at that expression!

Beautiful balancing, Hannah!  You were not able to balance this well last fall -- what a great accomplishment!  Clearly, you have been working hard in dance class!  Also, your moves were ahead of the teacher's moves, so you certainly memorized the dances.  Great work!

Enjoying dinner on the new deck!  Thank you, Unc B and GP Jimbo!

Strawberries at Ross View Farm!

'Tis strawberry season!  Mason plopped himself down in this aisle to munch on strawberries while Hannah, Mom and a few buddies who joined us, moved on.  Too bad he must have eaten a rotten strawberry, as he was sick the entire next day with a high fever and vomited once.

Weekend at The Perch with Cousin Grace and family, as well as Unc B and Aunt Nickie, the Drescher family and Mormor and GP Jimbo!

After hearing about the huge bass that had been spotted right beneath the dock, Brandon, Andy and Joel got to casting their rods.

Andy and Joel took a little cruise around the pond together.

Strike a pose!  It was beautiful weather for relaxing.  Mason made it to the dock for a few minutes before deciding to put himself to sleep because he wasn't feeling well.

We did get a kayak ride, too, however!
