I'm happy as a bug snug in a rug! Finally! I've met Katie!
We had a wonderful weekend in Maine, visiting college, hometown, and law school friends, all in a very short 30 hours! Hannah slept for our two hour trek over, but had a difficult time taking naps while amidst all the action and visiting. We first met up with Nate and Elizabeth and their daughter, Ella, who has grown so much and is such a fun 2 year old! She made "tea" for Hannah and me. Then, we met Hannah and Katie at Katie's place and enjoyed a lovely lunch at a local deli, followed by a walk on the beach, which was beautiful! It was Hannah's first time to the beach and although we thought the walk would serve as an opportunity for her to get some shut-eye, she was too interested in the rolling waves and powerful sound of the ocean to sleep. Of course, we should have known that something so novel would not translate into good napping! Katie concocted a delicious chili for dinner and we hit the sack pretty early. The following morning it was great to have Ken and Joan visit over breakfast and meet Hannah. She was quite a snuggle bug with them. We then walked in the Old Port for an hour or so before having lunch with Anna and Bill, at their wonderful and light-filled, cheery apartment. It was fun to catch up with them and learn that they may someday be living in our area (no pressure, guys!)! After making some banana bread (of course!) with Anna and allowing Jonathan and Bill to catch a few downs on the tube, we met my hometown friend, Katie, for "dinner" (at 3pm) at an small, eclectic joint, which had superb food and a warm fire right next to our table! We finally had to say goodbye and head back to NH when Hannah informed us that she had had enough visiting for the weekend and that she needed a nap, NOW! Please see pictures from our wonderful time! Thank you to all of you for flexing your schedules to accommodate visits with us! A big thank you to Katie for hosting us too!

Aw look at all her friends!!!!
Because of the bear's nose, it looks like lil H has a pony tail!!! What color do you all think her hair is?
She is growing up sooooo fast!!! I can just imagine holding and cuddling her! We miss you all!!! Thanks for the photo updates! Glad to see Hannah is enjoying books. And, yes!, she could be a Patagonia model!! She is the second generation baby growing up wearing Patagonia clothing. She will soon be big enough for the hand-me-downs.
